After leading Klondike’s basketball girls to the Class 1A playoffs a year ago, Xavier Elizondo will be making his debut as the Cougars’ head boys basketball coach on Tuesday night when they host the O’Donnell Eagles. “I’m extremely excited. Girls basketball, boys basketball – it’s still basketball,” Elizondo said.
