The Lamesa school district will be hosting an electrocardiogram (ECG) heart screening on Thursday at the Lamesa High School Cafeteria. These screenings will be available for all Lamesa ISD athletes, band members and cheerleaders from 8 until 11 a.m. free of charge, thanks to the Lamesa ISD administration and the Go Big or Go Home Foundation (GBOGH). The ECGs also will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. the same day for students from all other schools. There will be a charge of $20 each for students from other school districts.
