Both O’Donnell High School’s girls and boys basketball squads made it to the Class 1A playoffs this year.Both teams are also well recognized on this season’s all-District 6-1A Basketball Teams.Sophomore Yatzel Renteria is 6-1A Girls’ Offensive Player of the Year, having averaged 14 points and 12 rebounds per game.“She was pretty dominant underneath the basket. She got a lot of her points off of putbacks.
