The O’Donnell Eagles enjoyed a big District 6-1A basketball road sweep Friday night at Crosbyton. The Eagle girls are now 13-7 on the year (3-1 in 6-1A play) after knocking off the Chieftains, 49-31. O’Donnell was up 11-7 at the end of the first quarter and 26-15 at the half. The Eagle girls put the Chieftains away for good with a 12-6 third quarter. “Our girls played pretty well tonight. Defensively, our girls played a lot better in the transition game but what probably helped us out as much as anything tonight is we did a lot better job of running our offense.
