Their season record doesn’t sound like much but that’s not keeping the O’Donnell Eagles from feeling fairly upbeat going into the Class 1A state baseball playoffs this week.“It seems like we keep on improving,” O’Donnell Coach Justin Ramirez said.That trend continued in the Eagles’ practice game Monday at Forsan as O’Donnell gave the red-hot Buffaloes a scare before falling 11-7. The Buffaloes have now won 11 of their last 14 games.“We treated this game for what it was – a practice game. We looked at some of our guys in different spots than where we normally play them,” Ramirez said.
