The O’Donnell Eagles will once again be hosting their annual Romp Through the Park Cross Country Meet here next Saturday at Lamesa’s Forrest Park. “We believe this is the 20th year for us to have this meet,” O’Donnell Coach Perri Clark said. “We might not have as many schools running here next weekend, since a lot of people’s district meets will be that following Monday or Tuesday, but we’re still anticipating having another good meet.” Clark said last year they registered 800 students but ended up having about 700 actually compete. “ In the past, we’ve always had 30 to 40 schools running ...
