Despite playing with only five players, the Dawson Dragons continue their high school basketball season.The Dragon girls were handed their second straight District 8-1A defeat of this season Tuesday by the Loop Longhorns, 37-25.“It was pretty rough again. But playing with only five girls, we still saw a lot of good things,” Dawson Coach A.J. Mendez said.“We were even up on them in the first quarter before we started making a lot of turnovers. Then, our shots stopped falling for us.”Eventually the numbers’ game caught up with the Dragons again in this game.“We were down by 11 at the half.
