The Klondike Cougars enjoyed a clean sweep on the high school hardwoods Friday afternoon at Wink. A quick start paved the way in the Cougar girls’ 39-24 victory over the Wildcats. Klondike jumped out to a 15-0 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 22-13 at the half. “Our girls came out playing real well today,” Klondike Coach Xavier Elizondo said. “We showed a lot of good hustle on defense.
