Klondike’s girls looked like a team which just cracked the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 this week, bringing home a 35-26 victory from Whiteface Tuesday night.“Traditionally, they’re always good. They’ve got a lot of history in their program,” Klondike Coach Kelsey Canavan said.“We’re still not putting up a ton of points on offense but our girls are doing a good job on the defensive end.”The Cougar girls, now 9-2 this season, were up 19-6 at the half.Izabella Arismendez’s nine points led Klondike. Fallon Warren and Haelee Doughty had eight points each.Klondike lost Tuesday’s boys game at Whiteface, 44-35.
