It started this past Saturday as the Golden Tor boys defeated a Dimmitt team, 59- 52, than had beaten Lamesa 40 points during their District 3-3A opener. Then on Tuesday the Golden Tors defeated the Denver City Mustangs, 62-51, to earn a spot in the playoffs for the first time in four years, with two games still remaining on their district slate.
