Two Lamesa High School boys punched their tickets to state in powerlifting with strong performances last Saturday at Sundown.Sophomores Evan Sepeda and Aidan Marmolejo each finished among the best in their weight classes at regionals.The boys state powerlifting championships will be held March 26 at the Abilene Expo Center.Sepeda tied for first in the super heavyweight division after three different competitors in that weight class each lifted a total of 1,470 pounds at regionals.
