After starting the season by winning 18 of their first 19 games, Borden County’s basketball boys have now dropped two out of their past three, falling 55-48 in double overtime against Van Horn in a practice game Friday at Wink. That game was tied at 42-all at the end of regulation and 44-all after the first overtime period. Van Horn outscored the Coyotes 11-4 in the second overtime. “They hit 12 threes against us tonight, while for us it was one of those nights where our guys had a hard time throwing the ball into the ocean,” BC Coach Bubba Edwards said.
