District competition in track for area high school athletes gets underway later this week.The District 8-1A meet is scheduled Friday at Garden City. That district includes Klondike, Borden County, Sands, Grady and Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy.The meet will start at 9:15 a.m. with the 3,200-meter run.
