After battling each other the past couple of seasons on gridiron the Borden County Coyotes and O’Donnell Eagles will be heading in different directions for at least the next couple of seasons.In its biennial realignment released Thursday morning the University Interscholastic League moved O’Donnell into Class 1A Division I’s District 5 and Borden County into District 7.“We were shocked to see where they didn’t put us in the same football district with Borden County” O’Donnell head football coach Fernando Baeza said.Joining O’Donnell in District 5-1A will be Meadow, Wellman-Union and Whiteface.“We can definitely see an opportunity in our new district ...
