Both the Borden County Coyotes and Sands Mustangs are hoping to book return trips to state when they compete in the Region I-1A Cross Country Championships Tuesday afternoon at Lubbock’s Mae Simmons Park.Last year, the Coyote girls brought home the third place Class 1A state trophy and the Mustang boys finished as the sixth best team.
