The results of Saturday’s election will be reviewed and newly elected school board members will take the oath of office during a school board meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in the school administration office, 212 N. Houston Ave.
Youngsters who will turn four by Sept. 1 and who meet both state and local criteria can be enrolled into pre-kindergarten (pre-k) at South Elementary School (SES) starting Thursday afternoon.
Lamesa High School’s Golden Tornado Band performed their Spring Concert Friday night in the school auditorium before conducting the annual band banquet in the cafeteria.
