Lamesa students heading into seventh, ninth and 11th grades with plans to participate in sports or band for the 2022-2023 academic year will first need to get a medical physical.University Interscholastic League’s (UIL) rules require students to get a physical in order to compete in sports or perform in school bands.To make it easier and more affordable for students, school officials have arranged for a mass physical at the Medical Arts Clinic, 2202 N. Bryan Ave., beginning at 1 p.m. this Friday. Students only pay $10.Students will be given forms from school officials for their parents to review and sign.
