The business, located at 2306 Lubbock Highway, opened for business on Halloween. The store offers animal feed, automotive and hardware equipment and clothing. The business is open from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sundays.
Lamesa Independent School District (LISD) board members will have an agenda laden with the results of the Nov. 3 election when they meet at 6 p.m., Thursday in the Central Office board room.
For those kids in school who are a little different, a little more inquisitive and a little bit older than their physical years, there’s the Gifted and Talented (G&T) program.

ANDREWS - Though the school district’s remote learning was terminated Friday, not all students who were learning at home in Andrews will return to campus classrooms on Nov. 10, according to school officials.
SNYDER - Family Connections is a new online, weekly interactive question and answer session offered by the Snyder Independent School District (SISD) for parents each Tuesday at noon and 5 p.m. The first pair of sessions, held earlier this week, focused on the district’s Schoology online assignment and grade tracking system.
BROWNFIELD - What has been a popular event in Brownfield has been canceled this year due to the rising COVID-19 cases in Terry County.
It seems COVID-19 isn’t finished in either derailing or changing how people honor certain events. It turned graduation into a parade of cars, altered homecoming by excluding the traditional dance and completely canceled Halloween.
Search dogs and a state helicopter assisted in the arrest of three individuals who led officers on a highspeed chase Wednesday night that included shots being fired at a pair of Lamesa police vehicles.
