BROWNFIELD - The Texas Department of State Health Services and South Plains Public Health District sent out a notification to the Terry County judge, Brownfield mayor, City of Wellman and the City of Meadow that they fall under Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s GA-32 order as of Feb 3.
Texas Supreme Court hears appeal by Kinder Morgan

SNYDER – The Texas Supreme Court heard oral arguments Feb. 4 from both sides of the Scurry County, et al, vs. Kinder Morgan, et al, lawsuit. The hearing focused on Kinder Morgan’s appeal of 132nd District Judge Ernie B. Armstrong and the 11th Court of Appeals rulings that denied Kinder Morgan’s motion to dismiss.

Dawson County continues to see renewed interest in oil activity, with three permits for new drilling operations in Dawson County approved within the past two weeks by the Texas Railroad Commission.
