Anyone interested in having a booth at Lamesa’s Chicken Fried Steak Festival in April is encouraged to go ahead and reserve a space. Jamie Gonzales, festival organizers with the City of Lamesa, said Tuesday that about 18 vendors already have signed up for the event. Sponsored by the city with help from the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce, the festival is scheduled for April 23-25 at Forrest Park and the surrounding area.
