After returning from an hour-long closed executive session Thursday night, Lamesa school board members took no action during open session regarding a grievance filed by School Resource Officer (SRO) Gabriel Flores.
Thanks to the quick actions of their bus driver, nine young students on their way home after a day of classes at the Sands school in Ackerly escaped safely when their school bus caught fire Wednesday afternoon.
