My name is Matt Hogg, current sheriff of Dawson County.I was born and have lived here 49 years. I graduated from Klondike High School in 1993 and from South Plains College in 1995 with an associate degree in law enforcement. Beginning March of 1997 as a reserve deputy for Dawson County, transitioning to full-time patrol January 2001, handling traffic duties, investigations, service of civil process, including citations, writs, warrants, plus providing courtroom security.
