There were winners and there were prizes during the annual Chicken Fried Steak Festival at Forrest Park.Saturday’s all day festival brought out participants for the 5K Run/Walk, volleyball, kickball, the Mr. and Ms. Chicken Fry Pageant and pet costume contests.The competitions began early Saturday morning with the 5K Run/Walk that brought out 23 joggers and strollers.Cash awards were distributed to athletes winning the overall and runners ages 14 and under.Antonio Rodiquez came in first overall with a time of 18:32 after running three times around the park.
