Maillee Weaver, a 2020 graduate of Klondike High School, received the prestigious P.E.O. STAR Scholarship award for the 2020-2021 academic year during the most recent P.E.O. chapter meeting conducted by Zoom. Weaver is the daughter of Jeff and Kerri Weaver of Lamesa. Chapter JG of Big Spring recommended her for the scholarship. She is attending Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Oklahoma. The P.E.O. Scholarship is a $2,500 award based on excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities, community service, academics and potential for future success.
