Permits for 17 new water wells will be considered by the Mesa Underground Water Conservation District board of directors during their regular meeting this coming Wednesday morning. A public hearing on those permit requests will be held at the outset of the meeting, which will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the district office at 212 North Avenue G in Lamesa.
