Directors of the Mesa Underground Water Conservation District are scheduled to consider two dozen requests for well permits during their regular meeting this coming Wednesday. That meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the district office at 212 N. Ave. G in Lamesa. Nineteen of the permits being requested are for new irrigation wells.
