Dawson County voters agreed with their counterparts across the state on Tuesday in approving all eight proposed amendments to the Texas constitution.More than 325 voters here cast ballots either on election day Tuesday or during through absentee and early voting, according to Dawson County Elections Administrator Ashley Barron.Barron said everything went smoothly on election day at all four polling places in Lamesa.It was the first election since the county elections administrator position was created last summer by the Dawson County Commissioners Court.It also was the first election using new voting machines purchased by the county.Barron said a representative from the ...
