Lucy Valero took her second oath of office Wednesday morning from the district judge who appointed her as acting county auditor in May.District Judge Reed Filley administered oaths of office in his courtroom to Valero and her two staff members.The second oath removes the “acting” part of Valero’s title. Her two assistants also took another oath of office, promoting them to new job titles.Erica Solis rose to the position of first assistant in the auditor’s office.
