There’s only one more day this month designated for the South Plains Public Health District to administer the COVID-19 vaccine in Lamesa.SPPHD nurses are conducting a vaccine clinic at the Lamesa Health Department at 503 S. 1st Street between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday.Residents should contact SPPHD’s Brownfield office at 806-318-2367 to make an appointment. This allows nurses to know how much and which vaccines to bring with them.The local health department will be open for half a day May 27. It will be closed for Memorial Day on May 30.
