There are two days on the May calendar for anyone wanting the COVID-19 vaccine.South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD) nurses are administering COVID-19 vaccinations between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Tuesday and May 24 at the Lamesa Health Department at 503 S. 1st Street.Residents should contact SPPHD’s Brownfield office at 806-318-2367 to make an appointment. This allows nurses to know how much and which vaccines to bring with them.The local health department will be open for half a day May 27. It will be closed for Memorial Day on May 30.
