It’s October, and that means the annual Trunk-or-Treat on the town square is just around the corner.Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce and Dawson County Public Library staff members are working together for this year’s spooky activities.Trunk-or-Treat is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Oct. 31.“We’re going to have the carved pumpkin contest, children’s costume contest, trunk decorating contest and the bake sale as well,” said Ashley Tidwell, Chamber president.Vehicle owners can decorate their trunk spaces and hand out candy and other goodies.
