Organizers of the first annual Harvest Festival are making a few changes to their plans.They are combining the celebration with the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce’s Trunk or Treat event.Both events will be conducted on the Town Square Saturday, Oct. 30.The Harvest Festival kicks off from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The Trunk or Treat event, enabling car owners to distribute candy to trick-or-treaters from the trunks of their vehicles, takes over from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.The Harvest Festival was initially going to be a twoday event Oct. 30-31, but organizers thought the crowds might be light on the ...
