Rainbow trout have made their annual pre-Christmas arrival at the Boys and Girls Club Lake in Lamesa.About 1,750 trout, averaging just over 9 inches in length but with some up to 11 inches, were delivered to the local pond on Thursday by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Inland Fisheries Division.It is the first of two trout stockings planned here this winter, with the second scheduled for Jan. 27.The two stockings will include a combined total of 3,500 fish.
