There are no official numbers, but the three day O.W. Follis Basketball Tournament that began Thursday is sure to have an impact on the local economy.The tournament involved a total of 22 varsity basketball teams from as far west as El Paso and as far north at Perryton.“It’s awesome. We’ve got two teams (possibly three teams) staying with us,” said Lana Rodgers, junior manager of the Best Western Lamesa Inn and Suites. “Very, very good group of kids; very respectful.
