Dawson County has had one more confirmed case of the COVID-19 virus but the number of active cases is declining this week. The latest case was announced late Monday afternoon by Lamesa Mayor Josh Stevens in a Facebook live report from City Hall in which he also summarized some of Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s initial measures to reopen business activity in Texas.
