Two federal agencies are recommending medical personnel and nursing home residents be the first to be inoculated against coronavirus. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices published a three tiered system categorizing who qualifies for the initial limited vaccine supply. The agencies based their recommendations on workers prone to contracting the virus on the job, people’s medical issues and their age, according to the CDC website.
