Dawson school board members are expected Monday to accept the resignation of Superintendent Layne Sheets and consider hiring an interim superintendent. That action will come during a called board meeting to begin at 7 p.m. in the board room at the school in Welch. Sheets, who has served as superintendent at Dawson for the past two years, was hired this past Tuesday to become the new superintendent of the Jayton-Girard school district at Jayton.
