When the Lamesa school system’s 1,700 students are released from school Friday for the week-long Thanksgiving holiday, they won’t see the classroom again until next month. Instead of returning to classrooms immediately after the Nov. 23-27 Thanksgiving holiday, all Lamesa students will stay home and access classroom lessons remotely by computer during the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 4.
