It was a pep-rally atmosphere in the Lamesa High School gynasium Wednesday morning as 94 Golden Tornado seniors signed letters of intent to continue their education at the next level. Those weren’t athletic letters of intent that normally gain such attention, however, but academic letters of intent, said Moses Pena, the high school’s college liason.
