With the spring Career Development Events (CDE) competition well underway, students from Lamesa and surrounding schools captured an array of honors at the Sweetwater Invitational on Thursday of last week.Leading the way in the team competition were Lamesa’s Cotton team and Klondike High School’s FFA Floriculture squad which both captured second place in their events.Klondike’s Alana Renfro took top individual honors in the Floriculture competition, while Kenley Krohn of Klondike finished second individually in Land Judging.Local results from that contest are as follows:Sweetwater Invitational CDEsCotton: 2.
