Lamesa school district is finally getting back the numbers it lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.School Superintendent David Ritchey informed school board members Thursday that the district now has a total of 1,530 students enrolled in its four campuses.The district began the 2023-2024 school year with an enrollment of 1,467 students.“So, it’s been a steady increase,” Ritchey said.“We’re going in the right direction.”There are 398 students currently enrolled in South Elementary School.A total of 307 students are enrolled at North Elementary School.The middle school now has 337 students.
