City officials are cautioning people to stay out of the flood waters at the Boys and Girls Club Lake due to contamination from a wastewater lift station at that location. Late Monday they also shifted the collection location for tree limbs which people are clearing from their yards and other areas. Mayor Josh Stevens said Monday afternoon the wastewater lift station located on N. 7th Street, on the south side of the Boys and Girls Club Lake, is completely flooded and inoperable at this time. “We’re not going to be able to get into it for awhile,” he said.
