One more resident of Dawson County has died as a result of COVID-19, according to the latest data posted on the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) website.That website, updated with information received as of Monday night, currently shows the COVID-19 virus has claimed the lives of 71 Dawson County residents since the first case here was reported in March of last year.Information received from the South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD) on Monday evening was continuing to show only 34 deaths among local residents, a number that has not changed since early February.The death toll reported here by ...
