State and federal facilities here will be closed, and students in Lamesa and Welch will get the day off, for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday on Monday. It will be business as usual, however, at city and county offices in Lamesa and for most local businesses. The Post Office here will be among those closed on Monday, with no mail being delivered.
