SNYDER – Scurry County residents experienced substantial wind and hail damage last weekend and could possibly be in for more sever weather this weekend. Midland-Odessa National Weather Service Lead Forecaster Douglas Cain said that Snyder was hit early on in the weather system. “On Sunday night and early Monday there was softballsized hail, and then there were additional storms Monday and a flash flood warning for Scurry County Tuesday evening,” he said.
