The South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD) is hosting only one local COVID-19 vaccination clinic during the month of July.SPPHD manages health clinics in four counties, including the one here.Those interested in getting inoculated against the coronavirus can go to the Lamesa Health Department at 503 S. 1st Street from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. July 19.Local residents should call SPPHD’s Brownfield office first at 806-318-2367 to make an appointment. The call will allow nurses to know how much vaccine they need for the clinic. Patients can also notify medical staff if they have any vaccine preferences.
