A decision appears imminent on an effort to provide a new headquarters for the Emergency Medical Services operated by the Dawson County Hospital District (DCHD). District board members have a special meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday to discuss constructing a new EMS headquarters and funding it with coronavirus funding.
