It’s never too early to prepare for winter, especially for the little ones in need.South Elementary’s Communities in Schools (CIS) supporters began accepting donations of winter coats and warm clothing Sept. 22.They will continue accepting donated winter wear through Oct. 8.Clothing sizes range from three-year-old toddlers to youngsters up to age eight.“I am seeking jackets, socks, gloves, hats, and other winter clothing,” said CIS Site Coordinator Kelsie Gonzalez.“The clothing that is donated will be available for every child that is in need.”Donations can be dropped off in the front office at the elementary school at 700 Skyline Drive.
