Work is continuing at a rapid pace on the newest solar farm in this area being built on some 13,000 acres just east of the Dawson County line in Borden County. Known as the Long Draw 1 Solar Project, it is being built by BNB Renewable Energy Holdings (LLC) in a reinvestment zone established by the Borden County Commissioners Court in 2017.
