Schools cancelled classes, local government offices kept their doors closed, and other activity across the area was moving at a slow pace Wednesday morning after an overnight snowfall blanketed the entire West Texas region. With an estimated 3 to 5 inches already on the ground, snow was continuing to fall at mid-morning Wednesday – sometimes at a very light rate but heavy at other times.
